My Day...

Donald was off work yesterday so we ventured off to McAllen. Its about 40 mins away. All we ended up doing was hitting the mall, but it was fun. We have a mall here in our town, but it's just an average mall. Nothing too exciting. The mall down in Brownsville is bigger, and has whatever our mall doesn't so between our two towns we are pretty well covered in shopping and eating places. But McAllen is kind of like our two towns combined everythings in one town. :) And the mall is great. The fact that they have a Godiva Chocolatier kind of puts them on the A list for me. ;) Daniel and I had lunch at Chick-fil-a , while Donald, Nathan and Elijah did McDonalds (funny how out of all those choices in the food court we went with regular run of the mill, everyday choices lol) Donald and I had Cinnabon and Nathan had a smoothie and Daniel a chocolate milkshake before we left. :) The boys were just awe struck by the Swarovski crystal shoppe. They had beautiful display windows full of various groupings and various size pieces. Of course the lighting was just perfect and so the reflections were amazing. The boys loved watching all the prisims and such.

My parents are coming down in May for their anniversary. They are going to stay out on the Island and want the boys to come out and stay with them some so they can enjoy the beach. :) I'm contemplaiting asking my mom if she wants to stay over a few days after thier fly home date and then us drive back to GA with Gran accompaning us. We'd end up staying 3-4 weeks. We've just got to check into rental car prices...Donald would have to have a way to work while we are gone. I know the boys would love to go back to GA and visit their cousins and friends we haven't seen since November...we'll just have to see how it all works out.

OH wooooot, they called yesterday and our couch is in...but the chair and a half is still at the factory. They wanted to know if we wanted it delivered. I think we're going to just wait...there is no point in paying two delievery fees, when the chair and a half should be in soon too. Lets all hope. Ok :)

We're heading to Houston next Wednesday when Donald finishes with post academy. We'll be getting there around 9 Wed. night and then leaving Friday about 1 in order to get back down here for Donald to work on Saturday morning. We haven't seen them since Christmas so it will be a nice, albiet short visit.

Its lunch time now and then quiet time...more later. :)
