Lillian Louise

Today would have been my grandmothers 87th birthday. She died in 1986. I was 12 and in the seventh grade. I still remember my daddy coming to West Haralson Junior High, out onto the big commons area where we all went after lunch. I saw him walk out of the school, toward the commons and I knew she had died. I have such wonderful memories of her and I miss her still. (pic L-R, my daddy (4) and my grandmother) middle pic (my aunt Margaret (grandmothers sister) my granddaddy in full ARMY uniform, and my grandmother, picture on the right my daddy as a newborn and my grandmother.  Posted by Hello

And because we moved and lost much mantel space I (believe it or not) culled the display down quite a bit for here at the apartment. This is the bar between the dining room and the kitchen. Posted by Hello

And because we know that there really was a long neck at Jesus' birth ;) ( I kid you not Nathan was playing with the nativity and adding the dinosaur to the mix for Mary to ride on...LOL) Posted by Hello

Our Tree 2002 Posted by Hello

The picture didn't make the move and believe it or not I'm not a collector of things in general...it leads to clutter and really I don't need anything to assist me in that department. But I love adding to my snowmen collection and my tree (the living room tree, and yes we have more than one Christmas tree) is also in a snowman theme. :) Posted by Hello

After we adding our 'floating' ornaments =) Posted by Hello

These were taken in our house in Georgia so Christmas of 2002, Nathan and I made a paper chain of snowmen --heh, that's what that 'decoration' is on the mantel.  Posted by Hello

And because Christmas will be here sooooooooooo soon I will share my snowman collection...and Dana if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. :) Posted by Hello

This is the Storm Mobile we made a few weeks back during our "Storm in the Night" unit. You can see the homeschooling blog for more information on that unit. Posted by Hello

I drew the pig and cape and utility belt and the bent street sign. The rest...well that was Nathan DOOM PIG creation (I did write the to too two...we were discussing that when he spelled TWO as TOOW. And that other thing...well that says secret cow...lol. There is a hurricane and a massive thunderstorm...cause you know that's what Doom Pig does, rescues folks from such. :) Posted by Hello
