September 11th 1998, I became a momma for the very first time. After wondering and waiting, he arrived. Oh how he has changed me. I never, ever knew I could love so deeply or protect so ferociously. It seems children allow you to feel emotions on a level that was unreachable before their births. My sweet Nathan Dayne arrived Sept. 11th at 12:14 a.m., he was born with the cord wrapped around his neck twice, he was blue and was intubated and given a shot of adrenalin. I didn't get to hold him until 3 a.m. because he was in NICU. Nathan is my thinker, my logical, antilitcal, debater. He is full of questions and ponderings. I can't wait to see how God uses him in the Kingdom. "Our Song" is 'You'll Be In My Heart' I leave you with those lyrics. Happy Birthday my big boy. My love for you knows no end.
Come stop your crying
It will be all right
Just take my hand Hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here Don't you cry
For one so small,
you seem so strong
My arms will hold you,
keep you safe and warm
This bond between us can't be broken
I will be here Don't you cry
'Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on Now and forever more
You'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be here in my heart always
Always
